Diversity Tennis

We need your help to buy a wheelchair for Walking Tennis, please think about sponsoring us.

We've been on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire to talk about the event: www.bbc.co.uk at 3:21.

We’ve been very fortunate to have had a lot of support and have already managed to fund 9 months of Walking Tennis sessions as well as working with SEND students, both in special and mainstream locations.

The sheer variety of people who come to Walking Tennis is amazing, and for some of those attending, the weekly sessions followed by tea and cake have actually been life-changing.

However, recently it has become clear that some of our existing players would benefit from access to specialist sports wheelchairs - which sadly are hugely expensive. We've decided in order to raise money to put towards buying one, we would collectively "walk" to Wimbledon during the fortnight of the tournament. I guess you could call it the ultimate in Walking Tennis!!!

Anything you can do to support us will be gratefully received…and thank you for reading! To donate, visit our GoFundMe page: https://www.gofundme.com/f/walking-tennis-walks-to-wimbledon
